General Manager: Tara

Tara has been the general manager of The Stables at Cottonwood since 2018. She grew up in the high desert of California riding horses through the mountains and competing in rodeo queen contest. Her love of horses continued with her and now she enjoys horses as a hobby. Tara has lived in the Dallas area for 3 years and has 2 beautiful children. When she is not chasing them to their sport activities she enjoys riding Annie, who she boards at the barn. Annie is an absolute doll who enjoys competing in Reining as well as leisurely rides around the stable.

Owner: Mark

Prior to Mark buying the Stables at Cottonwood, the stables were owned and operated by the original owner, M&B Horses. The Stables have been in operation for more than 25 years. Mark is now a Managing Director of a commercial real estate equity firm, E2M Partners, after finishing his baseball career as a professional pitcher with the Texas Rangers and Boston Red Sox. Mark is married with 4 children and has been a Coppell resident since 1998. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing outdoors, and taking care of the horses and The Stables at Cottonwood.

Ranch Manager: Dante

Dante was born in Mendoza, Argentina in 1963 and has maintained residence with his family in the Dallas/Fort Worth area since 2000. From a young age, he has always had a passion for horses, ranches, and being outdoors. Dante grew up on a ranch, and was raised to live the ways of the Argentine "gaucho" or cowboy. Dante's other main interest is his family. He enjoys getting together with his family and preparing an "asado" which is a cookout. He is married with three children. Dante has been the Ranch Manager for The Stables at Cottonwood since 2009 and owns two horses which he boards at The Stables, Silver and Salvino.
